Alexandre Chaym
Graduated in Electronic Engineering, Law, postgraduate in Business Administration, majoring in Philosophy, Artist-Student at the Research Laboratory of Philosophy of Photography at the Federal University of Goiás and photographer since 2016.
I have two major sources of disquiet: the dissonances of what is apparently out of "place" or "time" out of the phenomena I can observe and my studies in Philosophy, Psychology, Semiotics, Cinema and Art History. When they meet, these elements drive my photographic research projects.
One of the privileged environments for such phenomena - but far from being exclusive - is the "street", a context in which urban postmodern life unfolds but which is also a "non-place", a passage. I also review my personal repertoire of images constantly searching for new meanings, answers and challenges.

Currently, I have been developing visual investigations in which I alter optical characteristics of elements of photographic equipment.
