Rereading of the essay "Book VII". Figures from a past that cannot be revisited in the so-called "outside world", but which, in one way or another, force their way through and inexorably manifest themselves among the shadows of everyday life. The categories "real", "dream", "hallucination", "inside" and "outside" mask themselves before any questioning and ask: "who am I?"
